April 5th

Auto Theft - 11755 San Pablo Ave (Honda):
At 10:53 am, an officer responded to the report of an auto theft. An unidentified subject fraudulently obtained a 2017 Honda using the identity of another person.

Shoplifting - 10794 San Pablo Ave (Marshalls):
At 3:36 pm, an officer was contacted by Marshalls loss prevention regarding a theft. Store personnel detained a 24-year-old Emeryville man who was later released with a citation.

Warrant Arrest – Colusa Ave/Hotchkiss Ave:
At 2:39 am, an officer conducted a suspicious vehicle/person check on a person near a motorcycle parked in the area. The subject was found to have a warrant for his arrest. The man was arrested, booked, and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Warrant Arrest – Key Blvd/ Macdonald Ave:
At 3:20 am, an officer recognized a subject who he knew to have a warrant for his arrest. The man was arrested, booked, and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Robbery – San Pablo Ave/ Potrero Ave:
An officer responded to the report of a robbery that just occurred. The victim was walking southbound along the east sidewalk of San Pablo Avenue from Potrero Avenue. He turned and saw the suspects running towards him. One of the suspects wrapped his arms around the victim preventing his escape. The suspects demanded his phone and wallet. They began surrounding him and ripped his backpack off of his shoulders. The victim gave them his cell phone because he was in fear for his safety. The suspects then ran away.

Drunk in Public, Criminal Threats, and Warrant Arrest – 11344 San Pablo Ave (Denny’s):
Officers responded to Denny’s for the report of several unwanted subjects threatening people. One of the subjects had an ECPD warrant and an SFPD warrant for her arrest. Another subject was found to be extremely intoxicated. A third subject was also found to be extremely intoxicated in violation of his probation status. While an officer was bringing one of the arrestees out of Denny’s, he made criminal threats against a customer. They were all arrested.

April 8th

Grand Theft - 9996 San Pan Pablo Ave:
At 9:57 am, officers responded to the report of a 45-year-old San Francisco woman posing as a 77-year-old woman to fraudulently withdraw money. She had obtained thousands of dollars previously. She was arrested, booked and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Residential Burglary – 1600 block of Roger Court:
Between 9:30 am and 2:10 pm, an unknown suspect forced entry to the residence, ransacked the interior, and stole jewelry and electronics.

Loitering on Private Property – 2200 block of Humboldt Ave:
At 6:47 pm, officers responded to a report of a man who had let himself into an unlocked residence and was found sitting on the couch. Officers located the 31-year-old man and placed him under citizen’s arrest. The man was then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Warrant Arrest – 10759 San Pablo Ave:
At 7:30 pm, officers report the arrest of a 50-year-old woman who had a warrant for her arrest. The woman was later transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Stolen Vehicle Recovery – Hill St/Lexington Ave:
At 2:29 am, an officer reports the recovery of a Ford truck which had been reported as stolen on April 4th to the Fairfield Police Department.

April 9th

Residential Burglary – 900 block of Arlington Blvd:
At 10:16 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect stole tools from a residence between 3/22/19 at 4:00pm to 3/25/19 at 8:00am.

Residential Burglary, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Paraphernalia – 2500 block of Edwards Ave:
At 10:36 am, an officer was conducting extra patrol when he spotted a vehicle which matched the description of a vehicle involved in a recent burglary. The officer conducted an investigate stop and contacted the driver, a 51-year-old male from Richmond. A search of the car revealed the items taken from the burglary a few weeks ago. The suspect was in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. The male was booked then transported to the county jail.

Possession of a Controlled Substance – 10700 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 1:27 pm, an officer reports the arrest of a 58-year-old female from Richmond. The female entered the business and attempted to use a controlled substance in the fitting room. A search of the female’s purse revealed a pill bottle containing a controlled substance. The female was released with a citation.

April 10th

Auto Burglary – 5600 block of Macdonald Ave:
At 8:02 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect shattered the front passenger window of the victim’s vehicle and removed property from inside. The property was placed outside the vehicle and not taken.

Shoplifting and Warrant Arrest – 10700 block of San Pablo Ave:
At 2:12 pm, an officer accepted the citizen’s arrest of a 37-year-old female, after she attempted to leave a business with unpaid merchandise. A wants and warrants check revealed the female had an outstanding warrant out of San Francisco County. The female was issued a citation for shoplifting and taken to the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant.

Shoplifting – 11565 San Pablo Ave (Walgreen’s):
At 10:03 pm, an officer reports a male entered a business and selected several packages of over-the-counter medication before fleeing the store.

Possession of Controlled Substance – 2000 El Cerrito Plaza (Ross):
At 4:13 am, an officer reports the arrest of a 26-year-old man who was in possession of a controlled substance. The man was transported to the El Cerrito Police Department and later released with a citation.

April 11th

Theft from Auto – 1600 block of Richmond St:
At 8:34 am, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered her unlocked vehicle and removed a Rolex watch and several pairs of sunglasses.

Theft from Auto – 1000 block of Everett St:
At 3:05 pm, an officer reports an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and removed CDs and cash.

Shoplifting – 10650 San Pablo Ave (CVS):
At 7:10 pm, an officer reports an unknown male entered the business and selected numerous grocery items before exiting without paying.
