Beginning Monday, April 22, a railroad crossing replacement project will require a full 10-day closure of Iron Point Road between East Bidwell Street and Cavitt Road to replace the existing deteriorated railroad tracks and drain pipes. Iron Point Road will be closed to vehicular, pedestrian, and bicycle traffic for 24 hours a day. Traffic will be detoured to Broadstone Parkway. All local businesses will be accessible during the closure. The fire department has evaluated the temporary road closure and will use alternate routes to ensure a rapid response to emergencies.
