2 Plead Guilty, $18k Worth of Jewelry and Cash Taken During Residential Burglary

On Friday, April 12th, Jeffrey Wilborn and Allen Lewis, both known gang members, plead guilty to a residential burglary that occurred on the 1900 block of San Simeon St. in the city of Pomona in June of 2018. Wilborn was sentenced to 8 years in prison and Lewis was sentenced to 2 years in prison. Lewis lived next door to the victim and let Wilborn, and an additional suspect who was later identified as James Booker, use his backyard to jump into the backyard of the victim to gain access. Lewis went through the front door of the victim’s residence once he observed the victim run from the house.

Lewis was seen leaving with a tablet from the residence. $18,000 worth of jewelry and cash was taken during the burglary. James Booker is still outstanding and efforts have been made to locate him and are still ongoing.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or James Booker’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Pomona Police Department at 909-620-2085.
