Investigation – 2400 Block of Tatnall Street (March 26)

Wilmington Police continue to investigate what has now been determined to be a shooting incident in the 2400 block of Tatnall Street on March 26.
 
Police responded to the area at approximately 8:28 p.m. on that date, and located a 14-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment for minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
 
A preliminary investigation was unable to confirm the location of the shooting incident. Patrol officers and detectives have conducted interviews and gathered additional information and evidence, and are now able to confirm that this was a shooting incident that occurred at that location.
