* Until 1215 AM EDT.

* At 1144 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles north of Gastonia, or near High Shoals, moving northeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near... Mt Holly around 1150 PM EDT. Huntersville, Cornelius, Westport and Denver around 1200 AM EDT. Davidson, Mooresville and Ramsey Creek Park around 1210 AM EDT. Other locations impacted by this dangerous thunderstorm include Lowesville, Doolie and Lucia.
