A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN RUTHERFORD AND NORTHWESTERN CLEVELAND COUNTIES...

At 1007 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles northeast
of Forest City, or 6 miles northwest of Polkville, moving northeast
at 55 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile 
         homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Forest City, Spindale, Bostic, Casar, Sunshine, Rutherfordton, Union
Mills, Belwood and Polkville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.
