Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 04:45PM

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Tensas Parish in northeastern Louisiana... Southwestern Madison Parish in northeastern Louisiana... Northeastern Catahoula Parish in northeastern Louisiana... Southeastern Franklin Parish in northeastern Louisiana... West central Claiborne County in southwestern Mississippi...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 344 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Wisner to near Lee Bayou, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near... Waterproof, Cooter Point and Helena around 400 PM CDT. Newlight around 405 PM CDT. St. Joseph and Lake Bruin around 415 PM CDT. Newellton around 420 PM CDT. Somerset around 425 PM CDT. Afton around 430 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Gilbert and Sicily Island.
