All TDS phone service in much of western and southern Dane Co is down.  We have very little information at this time as to the cause or duration of down time.  If you live in this area you may not be able to call 911 for an emergency.  Dane Co and northern Green Co Fire and EMS stations are being staffed at this time to handle any walk-in emergencies.  See your local news outlets for further info.
