Wilmington Police arrest pair on drug charges
Wilmington Police have arrested and charged two men in connection with a drug investigation.
On April 10 at approximately 3:32 p.m., police received information about two individuals possibly engaged in drug transactions in the 600 block of North Jefferson Street. Upon arrival, patrol officers stopped 56-year-old Michael Nobles and 48-year-old Kyle Winters, and recovered a considerable quantity of narcotics – 52 bags of crack cocaine and 31 grams of marijuana.
Winters was charged with loitering and was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11. He was also found to have active capiases, and was committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
Nobles was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, as well as loitering. He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $10,050 unsecured bail.
