INCIDENT: PC664/187- Attempted Murder

LOCATION: 13200 Block of Flagstaff Dr., Rancho Cucamonga

SUSPECT: Unknown

SUMMARY:

On Saturday, April 6, 2019 at approximately 2:10 a.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to the report of a shooting at a residence in the 13200 block of Flagstaff Dr. Upon arrival, deputies contacted and detained subjects who were attempting to flee from the scene. Through investigation, it was determined the residence was an Airbnb rental home, which was rented out for the night to host a birthday party.

At some point during the party, a fight occurred inside the home, and a male subject was shot once in the chest. The victim was transported by party goers to a nearby hospital for treatment. The victim remains hospitalized and in critical condition.

Detectives from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to assist with the investigation. They have worked tirelessly since the shooting and have yet to identify the suspect. Detectives learned that several people fled the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement and have yet to come forward.

Detectives have exhausted all leads and are asking for assistance from anyone who was at the party or may have information regarding what took place.
