Winter Weather Advisory until 07:00PM

Strong winds and a combination of freezing rain, sleet and snow continue to lead to difficult to dangerous travel, especially north of Interstate 90. Additional ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch will be possible along and north of Interstate 90. Additional snow and sleet accumulations will range from a trace up to 3 inches with the higher amounts over Clark and Taylor Counties. Winds gusting up to around 55 mph may also cause some tree damage and lead to sporadic power outages. Conditions will begin to slowly improve from the south as temperatures warm this afternoon.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow and sleet accumulations of up to one inch and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest and west central Wisconsin and southeast Minnesota.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and cause sporadic power outages.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LA CROSSE ... HOUSTON ... JUNEAU ... VERNON ... MONROE ... WINONA ... RICHLAND ... ADAMS
