Suspect found with stolen car, pain pills and no license 
Deputy Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jesse Alan Clark, 37, address listed as Morganton, with possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, driving while license revoked, providing fictitious information to an officer, second-degree trespassing and possession of a stolen vehicle.
At 2:11 p.m. on Friday, March 8, Watson stopped an automobile on Burma Road East due to it having a lost tag. The driver told the deputy his license was revoked and gave him a fictitious name. Watson finally learned that the driver was Jesse Alan Clark and that the 1998 Chevrolet Malibu was stolen.
Clark was taken into custody, and a subsequent search of his person turned up 2 ½ pain pills.
