                Deputy David Jones of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 24-year-old Megan Nicole Lance, address listed as Asheville, with resisting a public officer, assault on a government official or employee and possession of marijuana.
                Jones charged 24-year-old Bradley Christian Salois, address listed as Asheville, with assault on a government official or employee and damage to personal property.
                Deputy Jordon Frisbee also charged Salois with resisting a public officer, possession of marijuana and assault on a government official or employee.
                At 9:40 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, Jones and Frisbee responded to Lake James State Park in reference to a disturbance. They found Lance and Salois in the woods yelling.
                During the investigation, both suspects fled, assaulted the deputies and damaged a Taser. They had 2 grams of marijuana in their possession.
