The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Freeze Warning, which is in effect from 8 PM this evening to 10 AM MDT Thursday. The Freeze Watch is no longer in effect.
* LOCATIONS...Including the cities of Grand Junction, Fruita, Palisade, Gateway, and Nucla.
* TEMPERATURES...Low temperatures tonight through Thursday morning expected to drop in the mid to upper 20s.
* TIMING...Temperatures will drop below freezing after sunset with the coldest temperatures expected early Thursday morning through sunrise.
* IMPACTS...Sensitive vegetation and swamp coolers will be impacted by sub-freezing temperatures.
* AFFECTED AREAS: GRAND VALLEY ... PARADOX VALLEY/LOWER DOLORES RIVER
