INCIDENT: Warrant Arrest / Stolen Vehicle Recovery / Stolen Firearm Recovery

LOCATION: 19154 Moonbeam Road, in El Mirage

SUSPECT: Pablo Barragan, 21 years-old, of El Mirage
Miguel Chagollan, 31 years-old, of El Mirage
Gilbert Alonzo,25 years-old, of El Mirage

SUMMARY:

On Friday April 5, 2019, at 2:34pm, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff's Stations - MET Team, along with the San Bernardino County Probation Department, responded to a residence in the 19000 block of Moonbeam Road in El Mirage for a felony warrant service.

When deputies arrived at the residence, two subjects were contacted in the yard. One subject, later identified as Gilbert Alonzo, was in possession of a stolen firearm which had been taken from another property in El Mirage. Alonzo and the other subject, Pablo Barragan, were detained without incident.

Inside the residence, deputies contacted Miguel Chagollan, who initially refused to comply with deputies and resisted arrest. During a probation search of the property, a stolen 1991 Suzuki ATV was located. The ATV was reported stolen from Adelanto High School. The owners of the stolen firearm and ATV and were notified their property had been recovered.

All three subjects were arrested for various charges including possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest, felony warrants, and misdemeanor warrants. Two of the three subjects are documented gang members and will be facing gang enhancements.
