#001 Possession for Sales Arrest
Officer Vucurevich contacted a subject in the area of Decoto Rd/I880.  The 40 year old man was found to be in possession of a suspected controlled substance for sales.  The man was later booked at the Fremont Jail.

#002 Failure to Yield
Officer A. Dennis attempted to stop a black Chevy Malibu in the area of Christy St/Automall Pkwy that was driving without head lights on.  Officer Dennis attempted a traffic stop and the vehicle failed to yield.  After committing several more traffic violations, it was last seen in the area of the auto dealerships.  The investigation is ongoing.

#005 Vehicle Code Violation
Zone 2 officers respond to the intersection of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Decoto Rd after callers reported a vehicle stranded on the median.  An unoccupied VW Jetta was found and eventually towed when the driver was nowhere to be found…  Incident documented by Officer J. Bordy.

#013 Stolen Vehicle Arrest
Officer J. Kennedy located an occupied stolen vehicle in the area of Mowry and Farwell Dr.  A high risk stop is conducted on the shoulder of north bound I880 near Decoto Rd.  The 36 year old male driver was taken into custody without incident.
 
#028 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 2:01 p.m., Officer Cardona responded to a report of a male brandishing a weapon at a woman and passing traffic near the intersection of Mowry Ave and Paseo Padre Pkwy. Officers contacted the man, who was found to be on probation.  Several pocket knives were found in his pocket, along with bottle openers and several containers of alcohol. The man was unable to maintain his balance during the contact and spoke with slurred speech.  The man was found to be too intoxicated to care for his own safety.  The 46 year old man was arrested for public intoxication.  No victims of brandishing were located.

#049 Trespassing
Officer Dubowy issued a trespass warning to a 46 year old man, Oakland resident, at Beverages and More.

#038 Stolen Vehicle
At 10:30 p.m., a stolen vehicle is located on Mowry Ave by Officer J. LaStrape.  The vehicle was occupied by four people and followed onto northbound I880.  Additional FPD patrol units arrived to support the stop and emergency lights were activated.  The vehicle immediately yielded on I880, south of Decoto Rd.  A high risk stop was coordinated with the assistance of CHP units who closed all northbound lanes of I880.  The occupants all complied with commands and were safely detained.  The driver, a 42 year old man, Oakland resident, was arrested for the stolen vehicle and a 35 year old adult male passenger was arrested for drug related warrants.   The two other passengers were transported off the freeway, where they could arrange alternate transportation. 

#003 Obstructing/Resisting - Medical
At 1:55 a.m., Officer C. Gonzales was dispatched to a disturbance, regarding a man who was acting erratically on Stevenson Blvd near Davis St.  The man was contacted and responded violently to PD’s arrival, at one point kicking and screaming at officers.  At the time, officers contributed his behavior to due to the man being under the influence of a controlled substance.  For the safety of all involved, the man had to be restrained in a WRAP device and was taken to the hospital.  The man was admitted to the hospital.

#007 Warrant Arrest
At 8:23 a.m., Officer Pena and FTO Liu arrested a 55 year old man for his outstanding warrant and for being in possession of drug paraphernalia following a car stop at the Park and Ride located at I680/Mission Blvd.

#010 Shoplifting
At 11:42 a.m., Officer Sayles and FTO Roberts arrested a man for shoplifting from the Lucky’s store at Charter Square. Officer Cardona and FTO Meredith assisted by detaining the suspect.

#012 Public Intoxication Arrest
At 1:03 p.m., Officer Olvera arrested a 55 year old man for public intoxication following a call for service of a “person down” near Peralta and Fremont Bl.

#013 Warrant Arrest
Officer Berrier arrested a man for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant following a call for service to investigate an alarm call near ACWD’s rubber Dam closest to Niles Bl.

#004 DUI Arrest
At approximately 2:30 a.m., Officer R. Gerber conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Fremont Blvd and Decoto Rd.  This stop resulted in the 36 year old male driver being arrested for DUI.  He was booked at the Fremont Jail.   

#006 Missing Person
At approximately 3:30 a.m., a reporting party called in a missing person, who was possibly at risk.  The reporting party stated the woman had left their residence on Valdez Way about one hour earlier and hadn’t return.  She had left her phone and wallet behind at the house.  Fremont Fire responded to deploy their UAV (drone) and K9 Officer R. Smith was called into assist with his tracking hound.  Ultimately, the woman was located approximately 2.5 miles away, in the area of Paseo Padre Pkwy and Grimmer Bl.  Incident documented by Officer M.
