...PATCHY DENSE FOG ACROSS PARTS OF UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA,
NORTHEAST GEORGIA, AND THE FOOTHILLS OF NORTH CAROLINA...
Patches of dense fog were developing across the region at
daybreak. The fog was reducing the visibility to one-quarter mile
mainly across the area from Anderson to Greenville and
Spartanburg. The dense fog may expand a bit more this morning
before the sun burns it off between 8 am and 10 am.
People traveling across the region this morning should be on the
lookout for sharply reduced visibility in fog banks. Watch out for
children near bus stops. Allow for more distance between you and
the car in front of you and allow for extra time to reach your
destination safely. The fog should lift by 10 am at the latest
