Wanted for Petit Larceny and Endangering the Welfare of a Child

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the woman who used a child to help her steal merchandise from a Huntington Station store in March.

A woman, who was accompanied by a child approximately 10 to 12 years old, entered Target, located at 124 East Jericho Turnpike, on March 7 at approximately 11 p.m. The woman loaded a shopping cart with baby formula and diapers and she left the child with the cart near the exit and exited the store. The suspect waited in the parking lot in a white sedan and the child pushed the cart with merchandise out to the vehicle.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
