Mayor Bhalla open office hours
Mayor Ravi Bhalla wil hold open office hours for residents at Brandt School (215 9th Street) on Monday, April 8 from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Also joining Mayor Bhalla will be Hoboken’s Chief of Constituent Affairs, Caroline Caulfield. Residents planning to attend may email her in advance to advise of any issue they would like to discuss. Spring Seeding Program to Begin in Parks
Hoboken will begin grass seeding in Church Square Park, Stevens Park, Elysian Park, and Harborside Park on Friday, April 5 (weather permitting).Specific grass areas will be closed for a 3-week period, as well as the entire grass field at Harborside Park. Residents are encouraged to stay out of areas marked as closed, because foot traffic will prevent grass from growing. As a reminder, dogs are not allowed on grass in parks.
Certain playground areas in Church Square Park and Stevens Park will also be closed on Friday, April 5 for repair of shade structures and safety surfaces. The safety surface at Elysian Park will be replaced later this year, pending approval in the capital budget.
