This morning, at approximately 8:40 AM, the contractor working for the Whitehall Township Authority, R-III Construction, hit a water main at New York & Sumner Avenues. This was not a planned water interruption. Our contractor is on site and is trying to make the necessary emergency repairs as quickly as possible to restore water service to our residents. This repair affects customers along New York Avenue, Sumner Avenue, Oakwood Drive, Fullerton Avenue, Florida Avenue and Crest Drive. The Whitehall Township Authority apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused our customers. We hope to have our customers back in service within a few hours; however, with any emergency, this is just a best estimate and hope everyone understands. Thank you!
