Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate two people who used a stolen credit card in Lake Grove in January.

The credit card was stolen from a purse in Starbucks, located in Smith Haven Mall, at approximately 12:30 p.m. on January 24. A woman and a teenager used the credit card later that same day to purchase a Visa gift card from Game Stop, located within the mall. An attempt was also made at the Apple store to purchase several products but was declined.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com. All calls, text messages and emails will be kept confidential.
