SUMMARY:
On Sunday, March 24, 2019 at approximately 1:50 p.m., four male juveniles forced entry into the vacant elementary school located at the 6000 block of Sunburst Avenue. The suspects caused approximately $2000 worth of damage to the school buildings and stole about $3,480 worth of electronic equipment.
Through investigation, Yucca Valley School Resource Officer M. Sellers identified four juvenile suspects who committed the burglary. On April 2, 2019, deputies contacted the suspects, recovered the stolen property, as well as tools used to destroy the school grounds. The juveniles were arrested and cite released to their parents.
