Suspicious people looking at power poles likely legitimate inspectors.

We have received some calls of suspicious people/companies coming onto property and looking at utility poles. We wanted everyone to know that we've looked into it and found that, because of the upcoming wildfire season, PG&E is in the process of inspecting all their utility poles. These service people will be either PG&E employees or from some other independent contracted company.

These contractors and companies may be from out of state but all will have been issued a picture ID by PG&E. They are asking for permission to access property to inspect their lines and repair any potential problems. They will not be doing any work in your house. If anyone asks to come into your home, call us right away.

We just wanted to let you know that these utility pole inspections are taking place in case you run across this issue. We appreciate you all being dilligent in looking out for each other and you can still call us if you feel something is suspicious.
