Arrested: Mendozaherrera, Hector, 27 year old Oakland resident
Charges: Burglary, Possession of Burglary tools, Possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest

Narrative: On March 30, 2019 at approximately 5:22 AM Emeryville Officers responded to the secured parking garage at 3900 Adeline Street on the report of a male breaking into a secured bicycle storage unit. As officers arrived in the area they were directed to the suspect's location by property security. The suspect, Hector Mendozaherrera, fled from uniformed officers and a brief foot pursuit ensued. Officers subsequently apprehended Mendozaherrera in the 1000 block of Yerba Buena Ave. A search of Mendozaherrera revealed he was in possession of burglary tools and drug paraphernalia. Mendozaherrera was arrested for burglary, resisting arrest, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia.
