A few severe storms with damaging winds and large hail will be possible. Locally heavy rainfall could lead to some minor flooding issues through the day.
Strong southwest winds will gust 25-35 mph ahead of the front
today, while north to northwest winds will gust 30-40 mph behind
the front late this afternoon into the early evening.
A brief, light freeze is possible throughout the region late
tonight and early Sunday. Low temperatures will be in the lower
30s over much of the region. A persistent north wind should
prevent frost formation, except in the most sheltered of areas.
