UPDATE 3/29/19 at 7:45pm -Starting tonight, March 29, one of the two southbound lanes of Lafayette Street, between Calle De Luna and Highway 237, will remain closed 24 hours a day/seven days a week as work’s underway for the sewer line replacement project. Since Sunday night, March 17, a 4 foot by 4 foot sinkhole prompted the initial lane closure as the City assesses the damage and conducts repairs.
