* WHAT...Heavy snow possible, especially mid to late Sunday. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches possible with locally higher amounts exceeding a foot.

* WHERE...Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult, especially over Red Mountain, Lizard Head, Coal Bank and Molas Passes. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found at: www.weather.gov/gjt/winter.
