Another Start Smart teen driver safety class is now available!
After the great response to the previous Start Smart classes, we are pleased to offer another one in April.
Help your teen driver to “start smart.” We're partnering with the California Highway Patrol’s Marin Office to offer the Start Smart class on Saturday, April 13th. Start Smart is a FREE two-hour traffic safety class designed specifically for teen drivers or soon-to-be drivers (15 to 19 years of age) and their parents. The class will teach teens about some of the most common mistakes that new drivers make, and the most common reasons that law enforcement officers will contact them while driving. The class also serves to educate parents and clarify some of the confusion about the laws regarding provisional drivers licensing.
At least one parent or guardian must attend with their teen. (exception for Court referrals over 18 years old)
You must register for the class in advance. The Eventbrite links are listed below. Each person attending will need their own ticket, including parents. Please select “2” when registering for tickets.
