On Friday, March 8, 2019, at approximately 7:30 a.m., Thomas McAbee and Luiz Martinez, a 21 year old male from Turlock, fired a gun at a victim in the 1400 block of South Avenue in Turlock. The motive for the shooting is believed to be due to the victim’s gang member status. Turlock Police Officers located and arrested Luiz Martinez for attempted murder on March 12, 2019. Thomas McAbee had an outstanding Ramey Warrant for attempted murder.

On Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at approximately 5:18 p.m., Thomas McAbee, a 21 year old male from Ceres, was located and taken into custody without incident during a traffic stop conducted by Turlock Police Detectives.
