Suspicious activity leads to arrest for illegal possession of two concealed handguns by gang member.

During the evening hours of March 25th a Fairfield K-9 Officer with several years of law enforcement experience, including several years as a narcotics detective, was patrolling Grande Circle. The officer recognized two individuals, who the officer knew to be associated with a local gang, speaking with a male inside of a parked vehicle. The interactions between the two males outside of the vehicle and the occupant of the vehicle led the officer to believe they were involved in illegal activity consistent with drug sales. When the officer exited their vehicle and attempted to contact the subject inside the vehicle, the subject inside the vehicle acknowledged the officer's presence and then fled in the vehicle. Other officers in the area immediately located the vehicle and the driver was again contacted. The driver and only person in the vehicle was identified as Willie Hill Jr., a 21 year old adult male with connections to Sacramento and Fairfield.

Inside the vehicle officers located two loaded, unregistered, concealed handguns with high capacity magazines.

Hill is currently on probation for a prior drug related arrest and was booked at Solano County Jail for several felony charges as well as a probation violation.
