Reckless Driving Isn't Worth It: Driver arrested for reckless driving after doing over 100 MPH on Airbase Parkway.

The driver of the Ford Mustang in this picture thought it would be a good idea to drive over 100 MPH on Airbase Parkway. What he didn't know was Fairfield Police Department Motor Officer Jimmy Williams was working traffic enforcement on that same stretch of highway.
The driver was arrested for reckless driving and his vehicle was towed from the scene. The Fairfield Police Department was granted a seizure warrant by a Solano County Superior Court Judge ordering the vehicle's continued impoundment for 30 days.
The owner of the vehicle, in this case the driver, is responsible for all towing, storage and administrative fees. This does not include any fines or fees imposed by the court for the reckless driving offense.

Please drive safely. Speeds this fast can kill! If you see someone driving recklessly, please call 911.
