Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Friday, March 22nd, 2019.

Shortly after 4 p.m., a food delivery man was robbed at gunpoint after making a delivery in the 300-block of 16th Avenue. A man demanded the victim’s money at gunpoint before entering a tan Toyota Avalon and fleeing west on 16th Avenue.

The suspect is described as 6’1” tall and 240 lbs. He has a beard and was wearing a black and purple North Face Steep Tech jacket.

While detectives investigating this incident are actively searching for this suspect, we seek the public’s help in quickly identifying him.
