Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports the arrest of Charles N. Ikejiaku, 54, of South Orange, and Brian D. Ellis, 34, of West Orange, in connection with an incident of Illegal Dumping today.

At approximately 1:15 p.m., members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force, observed two men discarding broken wood, plastic and large black garbage bags in a driveway between 367 and 371 Avon Avenue. Both Ellis and Ikejiaku were immediately arrested and are each charged with Illegal Dumping.

This charge is merely an accusation. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
