Officers have concluded their investigation. Home Depot and East Bay Bridge Center have returned to normal operations. There were no injuries associated with the suspicious package. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the Emeryville Police Department at (510) 596-3700.

The Emeryville Police Department is investigating a report of a suspicious package near the Home Deport entrance. The public is being asked to stay clear of the area while officers investigate.

UPDATE

The suspicious device was rendered safe with the assistance of the Alameda County EOD team.

The officers are continuing to investigate and gather evidence at the scene. We anticipate the area being closed for about another hour or two. Please continue to avoid the area until the investigators have completed.
