Sunday, March 10, 2019
Stolen Vehicle
Location: 2400 Block of Lafayette Street
An officer approached a vehicle parked in the handicap stall without the appropriate placard. A male subject was leaning against the vehicle (subject #1) and another male was inside the vehicle (subject #2). A knife was removed from subject #1 until the investigation was complete. A DMV check of the vehicle revealed it was stolen. A Records check revealed subject #2 was on formal probation. A search of his person yielded a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools. Subject #1 displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He, too, was in possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and burglary tools. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Santa Clara County Jail.

Possession of Stolen Property
Location: 3200 Block of Keller Street
An officer observed a male subject trespassing on the railroad tracks near the 3200 block of Keller Street. A Records check revealed the subject had three outstanding warrants totaling $45,000. A search of his person yielded drug paraphernalia and a stolen bicycle. He was arrested and transported to the Santa Clara County Jail.

Suspicious Circumstances
Location: 3900 Block of Rivermark Plaza
Officers observed a suspicious vehicle in Rivermark Plaza occupied by three male subjects. A DMV check of the license plate had a return for an unrelated vehicle with a different make and model. The subjects fled the parking lot at a high rate of speed. Public Safety Dispatchers issued a “be-on-the-lookout” notice to local law enforcement agencies.

Location: 3400 Block of Homestead Road
Sometime between 03/10/19 at 1200 hours, and 03/11/19 at 0145 hours, an unknown suspect(s) stole the victim's front and rear license plate from a parking lot on the 3400 block of Homestead Road.

Grand Theft
Location: 3000 Block of Stevens Creek Boulevard
Public Safety Dispatchers were contacted by Loss Prevention Officers on the 3000 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard regarding a male suspect in custody. The suspect stole $2,105.75 worth of items from the business without paying. The suspect was detained by store Loss Prevention Officers until SCPD arrival. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Santa Clara County Jail.

Warrant Arrest
Location: 2400 Block of El Camino Real
An officer was patrolling a motel parking lot on the 2400 block of El Camino Real. A DMV registration check revealed an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for a female suspect’s arrest. The officer contacted the suspect in her motel room. The room was occupied by a male subject as well. The female suspect was arrested.
A Records check of the male subject revealed he had a $1,000 warrant. He was arrested.

Strong-Arm Robbery
Location: 1900 Block of El Camino Real
Public Safety Dispatchers received a call regarding a possible strong-arm robbery at a bus stop on the 1900 block of El Camino Real.
An elderly victim was waiting for a bus. The victim was approached by a male suspect and a female suspect in a vehicle asking for directions and money for gas. The victim gave the suspects $40. Then, the female suspect lured the victim closer to the vehicle and ripped the victim’s necklace off and fled the scene. The necklace was valued at approximately $200. Public Safety Dispatchers issued a “be-on-the-lookout” notice to local law enforcement agencies. The suspects are unknown and remain at large.
