Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a basketball hoop from a Commack home in February.

A man stole a basketball hoop from a resident of Farmstead Road on February 26 at approximately 10 a.m.  The man fled with the basketball hoop in a blue Chevrolet Suburban with gold New York State license plates pulling a trailer.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and your message to “CRIMES” (274637) or by email at www.tipsubmit.com.
