March 15, 2019 - Today the OSBI, with assistance from the Choctaw County Sheriff's Office and Soper Volunteer Fire Department, conducted a second search of a rural area northeast of Soper, Oklahoma where Michael Paul Beech's vehicle was located on March 4.

Searchers found Beech in a body of water a short distance from where his vehicle was recovered. Beech's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Tulsa, Oklahoma for an autopsy.

On March 5, 2019, the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance with a missing person investigation.

MICHAEL PAUL BEECH, age 35, was last seen on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the Sawyer, Oklahoma area. BEECH’s vehicle (a white Chevrolet Acadia) was located abandoned in a rural secluded area northeast of Soper, Oklahoma on Monday, March 4, 2019.

The OSBI and Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone who has seen or spoken with BEECH since the evening hours of March 3, 2019 to please contact the Choctaw County Sheriff’s Office at (580) 326-2130 or the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation at (580) 326-7712.
