Updated on Road Closures: State Highway 21 is now open – be aware of shoulder issues County Highway J in the 6th Court area remains closed indefinitely – use State Hwy 21 and County Road E as alternate routes County Highway G from State Highway 21 North to County Hwy C will remain closed
 
Many other county highways continue to have water over the roads. Please use extreme caution when travelling. DO NOT use town roads as alternate routes. Many town roads have significant damage or are flooded.
 
Watch for other roads to be closed completely. Town Roads have water over the road in many areas, please use caution when driving.  Never drive through standing water. Turn around, don’t drown.
 
SAND BAGS – AFTER HOURS If you are in need of sand bags and/or sand to fill them after hours, you can obtain sand bags at the following locations: Adams County Highway Dept Office – 1342 County Road F –West side inside of driveway Rome Municipal Building – 1156 Alpine Dr – In between Building 3 and Salt Shed on North end of property You must bring your own shovels etc to fill sand bags.
