On March 15, 2019, at 10 a.m. Sgt. Bruce Vanoven observed a Black 1996 Chevy Lumina in the Fire Lane of Walmart in Princeton, Indiana. Upon running the Indiana Registration on the Vehicle the vehicle came back to 31 year old Joseph Brubaker. Sgt. Vanoven ran Mr. Brubaker through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that his Indiana Operators License was listed as Suspended on a Prior Conviction. At that point Sgt. Vanoven conducted a traffic stop and began a roadside investigation with the assistance of Princeton Officer Jason Swan.

At the end of their investigation Sgt. Vanoven placed Mr. Brubaker into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Likewise Officer Jason Swan placed 50 year old Albert Brown into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail.

Sgt. Vanoven charged Joshua Brubaker with Driving While Suspended Prior and Possession of Methamphetamines. Mr. Brubaker remains in custody on a $750 bond. Officer Swan charged Albert Brown with Possession of a Synthetic Drug with a Prior and Possession of Paraphernalia with a Prior Conviction. Mr. Brown remains in custody on a $1500 bond.
