Traffic stop nets stolen guns, methamphetamine, cash and drug paraphernalia

                Deputy Robert Watson of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Daniel McCoy Bradley, 40, address listed as Annie Drive in Marion, with possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle to keep a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
                Bradley was also served with two outstanding grand jury indictments for operating a vehicle with no insurance and habitual felon.
                At 5:42 p.m. on Monday, March 4, Watson was at the intersection of Gaddy and Harmony Grove roads, when he noticed a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck with a fictitious tag.
                The deputy stopped the truck and found Bradley driving.
                A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up three stolen handguns, 21.5 grams of methamphetamine, cash and drug paraphernalia.
                Bradley is a felon, having been convicted of manufacturing a Schedule II controlled substance in McDowell County in November 2004.
                N.C. Highway Patrol troopers responded to the vehicle stop on March 4, and also charged the suspect with multiple traffic violations.
