SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at approximately 2:10 p.m., Damon Stuart, Damon Page, and Edie Kittrell entered the Victoria's Secret Pink at the Victoria Gardens Mall. The three suspects stole approximately $6,000 worth of merchandise and fled the scene in a gray Nissan Rogue with paper plates. Deputies located the vehicle on Victoria Gardens Lane at Church Street and a short vehicle pursuit ensued. Due to unsafe conditions and high speeds, the pursuit was terminated. A short time later, the suspect vehicle was involved in a traffic collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Banyan Avenue at Sapphire Street in Rancho Cucamonga. As a result of the traffic collision, the suspect vehicle rolled several times. The driver of the other vehicle did not sustain any injuries as a result of the traffic collision. Stuart, Page, and Kitrell fled their vehicle on foot. Kittrel was located and apprehended a short distance away in a flood control channel. As deputies conducted safety searches of the area, Stuart and Page were located in the back yard of a residence in the 5400 block of Napa Avenue.
During a search of the suspect vehicle, deputies recovered additional merchandise stolen from various retailers at the Victoria Gardens Mall totaling over $6,000.
