Deputy assists with traffic stop and locates methamphetamine 
Deputy Steven McPeters of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Eric Wayne Miller, 40, address listed as Stacy Hill Road in Marion, with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
McPeters assisted N.C. Highway Patrol troopers with a traffic stop on Cooper Drive at 7:51 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27.
A search of the car and Miller, the driver, revealed 1.5 gram of methamphetamine and items of drug paraphernalia.
