Incident: Prowling suspects
Location of Incident: 5750 Christie Ave. Black Bear Diner
Date/Time Occurred: March 13, 2019 8:36 PM
Arrested: Rodriguez, Juan 22 year old Richmond resident and Giron, Kevin 23 year old Richmond resident.
Charges: Prowling, evading, resisting arrest, possession of stolen property and burglary tools.

Narrative: On March 13, 2019 at about 8:36PM the Emeryville Police Department on-viewed a subject casing cars at the Black Bear Diner parking lot with a flashlight. An officer attempted an investigative stop on the suspect car and the driver evaded the officer. The driver eventually stopped his car at the Hyatt House. A passenger fled from the car on foot. Officers foot pursued the passenger and apprehended him without incident. The driver was also apprehended without incident. The suspects, Juan Rodriguez and Kevin Giron, were in possession of stolen property and burglary tools. Rodriguez and Giron were arrested for prowling, evading, resisting arrest and the stolen property and burglary tools possession.
