HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 AM THIS MORNING TO 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
The National Weather Service in Saint Louis has issued a High Wind Warning, which is in effect from 9 AM this morning to 7 PM
CDT this evening. The High Wind Watch is no longer in effect.
* WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
* TIMING...The warning is in effect from 9 am Thursday through 7 pm Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult. These winds could also lift and move trash cans, lawn furniture, and other loose outdoor objects.

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage. Motorists in high profile vehicles need to use extreme caution until the winds diminish.
