24 hour Chain Authorization--Category 1 travel advisory 
Today, Thursday, March 14, 2019, a Category 1 travel advisory and 24 hour chain authorization is in effect due to snow accumulation, and slippery roads. Motorists should exercise caution. Alaska statute requires headlights be illuminated when visibility is limited. In addition to this travel advisory, you may operate a truck-tractor unit with chains attached to the tires.
