The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a
* FLOOD WATCH for portions of Eastern Upper Michigan and Northern Lower Michigan, including the following areas, in Eastern Upper Michigan, Chippewa and Mackinac. In Northern Lower Michigan, Alcona, Alpena, Antrim, Arenac, Benzie, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Crawford, Emmet, Gladwin, Grand Traverse, Iosco, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, Montmorency, Ogemaw, Oscoda, Otsego, Presque Isle, Roscommon, and Wexford.
* From late tonight through Friday evening.
* Periods of rain and warming temperatures will lead to excessive snowmelt over northern Michigan through Friday.
* Water covered roads may become impassable. Rises on area rivers may exceed flood stage.
