Rebuild by Design
 
The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and the City of Hoboken invites residents to an upcoming Design Zone Workshop on the Rebuild by Design - Hudson River Project. This workshop will focus on the southern alignment within Hoboken with portions of the alignment on Washington Street south of Newark St. as well as Observer Highway.

North End Redevelopment meeting
 
Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla invites members of the public to a community meeting regarding the preparation of a redevelopment plan for the North End Rehabilitation Area. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit feedback from the community in order to create a North End Redevelopment Plan, which will establish the development standards for an area of approximately 30 acres in Northwest Hoboken. At the community meeting, residents will be able to provide input on what should be incorporated into a comprehensive plan for the North End area, including the creation of parks and public amenities, flood mitigation techniques, and development of a potential light rail station.

Columbus Park renovation
 
Hudson County invites residents to learn more about the second phase of renovations to be made at Columbus Park (which is a County owned and operated park). Phase two will include renovation of the “big kid side” of the playground and the installation of a splash park in the space between the playground and restrooms. A representative from the playground equipment company will also be at the meeting to address questions.
