Synopsis: A 35 year old male was riding a gray 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was stopped at the stop sign facing eastbound on Diamond Street at Lamont Street. He attempted to accelerate from the stop and make a right turn onto Lamont Street. He failed to maintain control of the motorcycle, left the roadway and then collided with a pole mounted stop sign. He was transported to the hospital by medics, with major internal injuries and facial injuries. No intoxication is suspected. Traffic Division responded to the scene and is investigating the collision.
