Synopsis: A 35 year old male was westbound on Calle Cristobal approaching the intersection of Avenida Del Gato. He was driving a silver 2011 Ford truck. A 40 year old male was stopped for the red light at the intersection of Calle Cristobal facing southbound. He was driving a gray 2003 Acura. One of the drivers failed to obey their signal and proceeded into the intersection and the two vehicles collided. A female passenger in the Acura suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital by medics. The other occupants of the Acura had complaints of pain only. No DUI is suspected. Traffic Division responded to the scene and is investigating the collision.
