New Trash Cans Have Been Delivered!

The company hired by the city to distribute the new trash cans has completed their distribution. We expected some residences to be missed as they were not local and our street addresses can be challenging.

Please begin using your new cans this week and if you have not received one please call 330-386-6584 to have your address placed on the list for delivery and your can will be delivered one day this week. Reminder all cans are equipped with RF ID chips and the city knows what cans go to what address.

If you feel you need an additional can, the city has purchased extra cans, they will be made available for a one time rental fee of $50 and an additional fee of $10 per month on your bill for the disposing of the additional trash. You can also call 330-386-6584 to obtain another can and the amount will be added to your next utility bill.

The city administration remains committed to making this transition as smooth as possible and will not be fully enforcing the ordinance passed by council until we ensure every resident has received their cans and had their questions answered. We will also be providing literature on tips to save space and recycle as the program grows.
